A little late but--------------------------------

Barb and I attended the memorial service at SW Virginia Veterans Cemetery yesterday(Dublin)
and as usual I get emotional thinking about my warrior friends who didn't make it home from
Vietnam especially Al Smith who was killed on Mother's day in 1969. I was fortunate to attend
his wedding in Denmark while we were stationed in Germany. My only visit to the National Cemetery in Washington was for Al's funeral. It makes me proud to have been a part of his
brief life and to honor him and many others close to my heart. God Bless all of them.
