Thank you brother... the smile on my face is from all who have had kind
words, held me up in prayer, etc. The comfort comes from Him because of all those prayers. It has been a humbling experience, to say the least. But, it sure feels good to know so many care and it just makes me love you all more, and want to be there for you all, if you ever need me.
Funny but true story I'll add in. A couple weeks before my diagnosis, I heard a song on a Contemporary Christian radio station. "Different" is the name of the song and it's touched me to the point that I came home and told Susan, "I want to be different". When I was diagnosed, she said, "Be careful what you pray for because you will definitely be different now". I agree that I am different and it's a true blessing. I've heard many times that we don't understand how adversity builds us and makes us stronger. I am experiencing that time in my life and loving it. :-)
