Sad to report we've lost Sarge. Took the liberty of sharing a Facebook post


Alvin Charles Senese, age 76, a resident of Vint Hill, Virginia passed away on February 4, 2018. Al was an avid UVA fan, hosting tailgates at football games for the last 25 years, with his loving wife Fran. A decorated Vietnam Veteran and Tank Commander, he honorably served in the U.S. Army for 22 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. Al LOVED his family and is survived by his adoring wife, Fanoula Papadopoulos Senese; three daughters, Michelle and Kathy Albarado and Jamie Harrigan and her husband Jim; sisters Sharon Sylvester and Donna Babbitt; grandchildren, Amanda, Kevin, Jimmy, Katie, Gabe, Will, Jack, Jefferson and Andrew; brothers-in-law, John and George Papadopoulos. A service will be held in his honor on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:00am at Nativity of Our Lord Orthodox Church 8911 Weems Road, Manassas, VA, 20110. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to Nativity Church of Our Lord Orthodox Church.
