Susan and I are now grandparents. Amelia was born 3/5/18 @ 3:48 pm. There were some tense times post birth as her O2 levels dropped and she was admitted to the NICU. She was cleared this morning at 2:30 am and allowed to return to her mom's room and they all went home today. She was 7.2 lbs and 20.5 inches. I may be labeled prejudice but she is beautiful. Susan was able to hold her in the NICU yesterday for over an hour. I have not had the pleasure yet. I am letting them rest today, but I will be visiting tomorrow to get in my granddaddy holding. I was told that you really don't know what it's like being a grandparent until you experience it and they were right. I see now why my "dad" posts so wonderfully about his grandbabies. We are blessed.
